Kindergarten and Grades 1 & 2
The child in initiated in the school through fun filled activities and child oriented methods of learning. Basic motor skills are developed. Music activities and development of communicative skills constitute a major part of the learning experience.
The Wonderland at DMIS nurtures tiny tots with personal care, the students enjoy the warmth of the nest under the care of mother birds. The excellent team of Kindergarten/Montessori trained teachers assisted by teacher assistants.At this stage tenderly music nurture the tiny tots. Children explore and experience simple lessons of life when they spend their time in the activity room. Phonic methods and well graded writing patterns follow a comprehensive foundation building program. Thus the transition from home to school is easy and enjoyable.
Grades 1 and 2 are integrated with the Kindergarten section from this academic year in order to smoothen the transition still further.
