Principal's Message
It is my privilege to be a part of Doha Modern Indian School as Principal. Established in 2005 under the benevolent patronage of Mr. Mohamed Taleb Al-Khouri, MD of the Taleb Group of Companies and with the right direction, visionary zeal and tireless efforts of our Director Mr. Jayashankar Pillai the name DMIS has become synonymous with quality education in a short span of 5 years.
We at DMIS have a dream of moulding the young minds of our future global citizens with the Hi-tech educational technology in the ambience of traditional values. Digital Campus of DMIS reduces the repetitive tasks and helps teachers and students to concentrate on the teaching-learning process effectively.
The students are equipped academically, ethically, physically, socially, emotionally and spiritually to face changing global environment. Our role is to develop the minds of our students in a stress-free, open, positive and joyful environment. Faculties of critical thinking, problem solving, creativity, innovation and intuition are developed.
DMIS is one of the 25 overseas schools chosen by CBSE to introduce the CBSE-International (CBSE-i) curriculum from the current academic year. Students have the option to choose the curriculum in Grade 1,2,6,9 and Grade 10 this year which will be extended to remaining classes next year.
