The term examination has come to be associated with stress and anxiety. The process of learning, which is supposed to be meaningful, loses its joy because of the negative impact of examinations. The CBSE in consultation with the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India has decided to introduce a nine point grading system. This eliminates cut throat competition and focuses on better learning.
